Regular Season Round 25: Aalst - Oostende 90-109

The most interesting game of round 25 was a home defeat of 3rd placedAalst (19-7) by second ranked Oostende (20-6) who outscored them by 19 points 109-90 in the game for the second place. Oostende looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Okapi Aalst 's players. Danish-Israeli point guard Noam Yaacov (186-2004) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and point guard Simon Buysse (194-1997) chipped in 18 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). At the losing side American guard Dante Maddox Jr (188, college: Xavier) responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Niels Van Den Eynde (179-2000) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Five Oostende and four Okapi Aalst players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oostende have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending Belgian champion maintains second place with 20-6 record having just two point less than leader Antwerp. Aalst at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost.
